How To Forward Port With PTCL Modem

Setting up port forwarding is quite similar to how its done in any other router. Port forwarding allows your router to correctly redirect external inbound service requests to the correct internal computer on your network. Setting up a router to port forward can be accomplished in a few steps. Port forwarding is a very easy task and can be done using the following steps: Open the administration panel of your modem. The default login details are username: admin and password: admin. Once logged in you will see the following page Use the navigation on the left and click  Advanced Setup . Next click  NAT , and by default Virtual Servers should be selected. If it is not click on Virtual Servers. Click Add button to proceed with port forwarding. Mikrotik with Multiple WAN IP’s and Port Forwarding / HAIRPIN NAT

Mark my words ! MIKROTIK is the Future & Cisco’s Domination will go down day by day.  For sure CISCO still holds the majority of shares in the router/switching world, but it will going to change very soon  . . . CISCO is the best, but at a higher price. Cisco have edge dueto its reliable OS and Hardware. On the other hand Mikrotik is good for multi purpose requirements in a very cheap price as compared to CISCO.  So very cost effective solution. Its all about personnel preference, choice, budget. But even if i have high budgeting, I will prefer Mikrotik:) , buts that’s my personnel choice. and you are not bound to agree with it Recently I did some testing at my office for a possible replacement of Cisco ASA 5510 Firewall/Router with Mikrotik Router-board. Following are some short reference on how I did it. I had a /29 public ip pool.  Configuration was was pretty straight forward but i was confused on howto route specific LAN server (or ip) traffic wi...

Read on for guidance on buying and installing your own home camera system. Method- 1    Preparing Your Home Make a diagram of your surveillance needs.  It is both expensive and impractical to monitor every square inch of your house, so you need to prioritize what areas you want to watch the most. Draw up a rough diagram of your house or print out the blueprints and note where you might want to place cameras. When you are done, check out each location to make sure it is not blocked by anything and provides the best view possible. You may want cameras for: Front and back doors. Off-Street Windows Large common spaces Driveways Porches Stairways [1] Buy the right package to suit your needs.  You can buy eac...
